TVJ’s noontime show, ”E.A.T.’,’ quickly reclaimed its position at the top of the rating chart after its 1-day loss to rival ‘Eat Bulaga!’
Based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘E.A.T.’, which is headlined by the noontime trio Tito, Vic, and Joey, regained its ratings throne by scoring 4.2 percent on Thursday, July 20. Additionally, it climbed one spot on the leaderboard, moving from number 14 to number 13.
On the other hand, ‘Eat Bulaga!’ secured a rating of 3.5 percent, landing at the 14th spot in the rating chart. The Kapamilya noontime show, ‘It’s Showtime’, closely followed with a 3.4 percent rating, ranking 15th on the overall ratings board.
During the previous day, Wednesday, July 19, ‘E.A.T.’ experienced its first defeat in the noontime slot when Eat Bulaga surpassed its ratings with 4.1 percent against ‘E.A.T.”s 3.7 percent.
This defeat marked the first time for ‘E.A.T.’ to be overtaken during noontime, and it was also the first time for ‘Eat Bulaga!’ to claim the top spot in the ratings race after TVJ’s separation from TAPE Inc.
Meanwhile, ‘It’s Showtime’ maintains its position as the number 3 noontime show with a rating of 3.1 percent.
The question now is: Can ‘E.A.T.’ sustain its leadership recovery, or will it slip again and be overtaken by either ‘Eat Bulaga!’ or ‘It’s Showtime’? As the noontime race continues to heat up, we’ll have to wait and see.
