On the sixth day of celebrating the 74th Anniversary of General Nakar in Quezon Province, the Champion Variety Show organized by the local government, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Esee Ruzol, took place on July 26.
The event was filled with excitement, joy, and happiness as the audience watched and joined in, with David Licauco, as the main guest, along with Kelvin Miranda, Don Amuel, Rachelle Laylo, Luis Gragera, and PPop Generation.

Despite the rainy weather, the spectators and participants couldn’t contain their excitement and joy during the Champion Variety Show. Honorable Mayor Esee Ruzol was also seen thoroughly enjoying the program and didn’t leave his seat from the beginning until the end.

The show kicked off with a stunning performance by Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 4 1st Runner Up Rachelle Laylo, who immediately wowed the crowd with Morissette Amon’s hit ‘Diamante.’ Rachelle then showcased her talent with two more performances, singing April Boy’s song ‘Di Ko Kayang Tanggapin’ and Alicia Keys’ ‘Girl on Fire.’

The audience couldn’t contain their excitement when The Clash 2023 Finalist Don Amuel and Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 4 Finalist Luis Gragera appeared on stage. Don Amuel delivered three songs – Uhaw (by Dilaw), Always Remember Us This Way (Lady Gaga), and Ako’y Sa’yo, Ika’y Akin (First Circle), while Luis Gragera serenaded the crowd with Binibini (by Zack Tabudlo), Magandang Dilag (by JM Bales), and Dadalhin (by Regine Velasquez).

Even when the PPop group PPop Generation, consisting of Princess, Charlene, Angela, Madz, Sofia, and Sarah, faced technical difficulties, they didn’t fail to impress the audience with their dynamic performance of Amakabogera (by Maymay Entrata) and their new single Prinsesa. They also challenged the Nakarin audience to a Gento dance challenge, and the crowd eagerly accepted.

The audience went wild as the Kapuso leading man Kelvin Miranda took the stage. He was showered with selfies and adoration from the audience. Kelvin’s live performance made him even more attractive with his soothing voice. He started with Walang Iba (by Ezra band) and followed it up with Yakap sa Dilim (by Orange and Lemons).
