In a recent press conference held on June 26, versatile actor Christian Vasquez opened up about playing two distinct roles in two iconic shows: ABS-CBN’s ‘The Iron Heart’ and GMA Network’s ‘Voltes V: Legacy.’
Sharing his enthusiasm, Vasquez said, “Siyempre nakakatuwa… kung puwede nga lang sabay, di ba?” He acknowledged the unique opportunity but emphasized the need to differentiate the characters in both shows. “Yung sa kabila [GMA’s ‘Voltes V: Legacy’], tapos na yun, na-shoot na namin, so tapos na yun. Ito kailangan hindi siya magiging pareho yung mga character.”
In ‘Voltes V: Legacy,’ Vasquez portrays the role of Zambojil, the overarching antagonist of the series.
Prior to his involvement in ‘The Iron Heart,’ Vasquez had been part of noteworthy productions like ‘La Vida Lena’ and ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.’
‘The Iron Heart’ serves as a reunion for Vasquez with Star Creatives Television, following their collaboration in the 2018 series ‘Bagani’ where he played a significant character.
In ‘The Iron Heart,’ Vasquez takes on the role of Orcus Silverio, a leader of the Tatsulok group responsible for overseeing operations alongside Richard Gutierrez’s character Apollo a.k.a. Tisoy.
