Anne Curtis, host of “It’s Showtime,” was deeply moved on Monday (July 3) by a contestant in the “Mini Ms. U” segment. The young participant’s heartfelt words during an impromptu acting segment touched not only Curtis but also the hearts of the viewers, known as the “madlang people,” on social media.
Seven-year-old Annika Co from Muntinlupa City impressed the hosts and the audience with her singing talent. However, it was her spontaneous acting skit with Vice Ganda that truly stole the show and left Curtis in tears.
During the skit, Vice Ganda and Annika portrayed best friends preparing to perform a duet on stage. However, the comedian hesitated due to anxiety. Annika’s genuine and pure responses to Vice Ganda’s lines about fears of not being liked and not being the best moved Curtis to the point of tears.

What a genuinely kind and pure soul. 🤍
Bless her heart.
Kudos to her parents for instilling such beautiful values. Imagine if we were all like this. No hatred or harmful words would exist. 🥹 https://t.co/qrvjUpVwa1— Anne Curtis-Smith (@annecurtissmith) July 3, 2023
