Ali Asistio recently starred in another Vivamax film, ‘Hosto’, directed by Jao Elamparo, which premiered last June 16. In the press conference for the film, he revealed how much sacrifice he can make for his family, including his education.
The film follows the story of a young man who ventures to Japan to improve the lives of his family back home. It was shot in the picturesque Land of the Rising Sun, Japan, and began screening on June 16th on ‘Vivamax.’
Regarding the sacrifices he can make for his family, including considering being a ‘hosto,’ the young actor revealed, “Kung nasa ibang bansa ako, kahit ano gagawin ko para sa nanay ko, kasi siya talaga yung naghirap para sa iyo.”
Ali Asistio, being the eldest son in his family, decided to sacrifice his education for his younger sibling, as the actor revealed.
On the experiences of Vince Rillon’s character in the film, Ali shared how he resonated with the character, saying, “Hindi mo naman mapipigilan pag yung puso mo tumibok.”
The young actor also shared his take on same-sex relationships, stating, “For me, kahit anong gender basta tumibok yung puso ko. – Possible naman po.”
