Alex Gonzaga congratulated Herlene Budol for her acting debut in GMA Network’s ‘Magandang Dilag,’ an afternoon series that started airing last June 26.
Before the pilot episode, Gonzaga tagged Budol on her Instagram story sharing the show’s countdown poster with the caption, “Congrats herlene!!! Bukas na showing (emojis)”
Budol, in return, shared their conversation on her Instagram story captioned with “Salamat Sa suporta ate @cathygonzaga”
Herlene and Alex’s friendship has gone on for quite some time as they frequently had YouTube collaborations. The two had a collaboration on YouTube last June 24 where Gonzaga tried auditioning at a beauty pageant with Budol featured in the video. The two stars both hail from Rizal and are quite similar in their antics.
Meanwhile, some speculate that their interaction hints at Gonzaga making her presence felt to Kapuso radar after her hiatus following the end of ‘Tropang LOL.’
Gonzaga was previously one of the hosts of TV5’s noontime show ‘Tropang LOL’ before it concluded last April 29. Since then, Gonzaga focused on her YouTube vlogging and had fewer TV appearances.
