On May 18, XOXO member Dani Ozaraga voiced her thoughts about having a toxic and controlling partner.
At the media conference for XOXO’s brand-new upbeat song, Go Lang ng Go, which LionhearTV covered, XOXO Dani considered a relationship good based on how her romantic partner understands her line of work.
“Siguro it’s not a distraction kapag hindi toxic ‘yung partner mo. At naiintindihan niya ‘yung work.Â
“Kasi this world is full of toxic people kaya bawas-bawasan natin, hindi sila– at hindi rin controlling ‘yung partner mo.”
She also noted the value of lovers supporting each other with their careers.Â
“At kung mahal ka talaga ng tao, susuportahan ka kung ano man ang gusto mo sa buhay. Hahayaan ka niyang mag-grow sa mga careers ninyo habang kayo pa rin dalawa.”
When asked about their acting and music career, XOXO Dani affirmed her love for music and singing.
“Singing or music is always our first love talaga po. ‘Yung acting namin parang new discovery of our selves, parang kumbaga, new venture sa mga careers namin. Pero, priority naman, both po. Kayang ipagsabay sa schedule. Lagare, oo laban lang ng laban sa buhay, kailangan nating magtrabaho.”
As for their latest music, XOXO members Riel Lomadilla, Dani Ozaraga, Lyra Micolob, and Mel Caluag offer their first upbeat Filipino single, ‘Go Lang ng Go’ (GLNG), available on May 26 via digital streaming platforms, with an iTunes pre-order period from May 19 to 25.
