Kapuso live-action adaptation of ‘Voltes V: Legacy (VVL)’ has surpassed the former rating chart leader, ’24 Oras.’
In the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, VVL has now taken the overall number 1 spot after surpassing the Kapuso newscast, ’24 Oras.’
On Friday, June 16, VVL recorded a rating of 12.7 percent, 0.2 percent higher than that of ’24 Oras’ which was 12.5 percent. The Kapamilya action-drama teleserye, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ remained second, tying with ’24 Oras.’
This is the first time that VVL has claimed the number 1 spot from ’24 Oras’ since it premiered on May 8, 2023.
Meanwhile, prior to being overtaken by VVL, ’24 Oras’ had been experiencing a decline in ratings.
On Monday, June 12, ’24 Oras’ registered a rating of 16.3 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, June 13, it dropped to 14.7 percent with a decrease of 1.6 percent.
It continued to decline on Wednesday, June 14, with a rating of 13.9 percent, which was 0.8 percent lower than the previous day’s rating.
However, it recovered slightly on Thursday, June 15, with a rating of 15.3 percent before plummeting again the next day.
Will ’24 Oras’ be able to recover and reclaim its former supremacy, or will ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ continue to reign as the country’s number 1 TV program?
