On June 10, Kapuso star Vin Abrenica addressed the possibility of his family migrating to the US.
At the media conference for ‘The Revelation,’ Vin Abrenica first expressed feeling proud of his sister’s achievement, “Yes, forensic siya, ang course niya. Oo graduate.”
He then recounted his educational background and recalled the possibility of working abroad.
“Not naman migrate, it’s just an option lang siya. Na parang if ever–kasi ‘yun naman talaga ever since ‘yung naging dream ko. Lahat ng naging courses ko was connected, nursing, parang mag-iibang bansa ka.”
He responded to the possibility of his family migrating to the United States, noting that he is not closing any doors.
“So I’m just waiting for that time na if ever man na magkaroon ako ng chance, and I see the life of my sister, I’m so proud.
“I’m not closing my doors, if ever naman na magkaroon ng option na ganon. It’s not something– it’s scary, but it’s something that I’m not going to close my doors to doing soon, if ever naman na gawin namin ‘yun.
“Not actually New York, pa eh, oo. Pero it’s a plan.”
He considers moving to another country an option for his family, with his wife, Sophie Albert, and their child Avianna Celeste.
“Well I love Canada but so far, wala pa naman kaming plano, wala pa kami talagang– that is just an option. Hindi pa naman talaga siya planong like, ‘Oh, this is my plan. I’m going to sell everything, my finances.’ Na ganon kabilis. It’s just an option na if we wanted to start a new life.”
As for his upcoming film, Abrenica stars in the co-production of House of Prime Films and Hand Held Entertainment Production, ‘The Revelation,’ with Jelai Andres, Ana Jalandoni, and Aljur Abrenica.
‘The Revelation,’ a story created by Joyzell Dulay and produced by Kate Javier, follows the story of Vincent, head of the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation), as he goes after a serial killer on the loose.
Under the direction of Ray An Dulay, ‘The Revelation’ opens in cinemas this June 21.
