In an interview on DWIZ radio station aired on June 3, Tito Sotto, one of the TVJ trio reveals that ‘Eat Bulaga’ is set to be broadcast online on their Facebook account.
He says that the show’s Facebook account is owned by the show’s writers and not TAPE Inc. He adds that the head writers are the “people” that work for them.
Sotto also revealed that a lawyer contacted one of the head writers asking for the password. However, the ownership of the account falls on who registered the account email.
He said, “Ang target po namin, umabot ng 50. Six years to go yun, kaya ipaglalaban namin ‘yan.”
According to Sotto, they were already offered by TV5, RPN, and CNN Philippines.
TVJ, the trio comprising Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, parted ways with TAPE Inc. on May 31 after the production company allegedly disrespected them.
However, despite the hosts’ resignations, GMA’s ‘Eat Bulaga’ resumed broadcast on June 5 featuring newly appointed hosts on the show. This indicates a dual-broadcasting of two versions of Eat Bulaga!
