‘ANO NA SHOWBT’ trended on social media after fans of KAIA, a Filipino girl group, and other fans of ShowBT Philippines’ artists, took to social media on June 14. This is after management’s artists shared their frustrations on Twitter and Instagram.
KAIA girls shared messages on their Instagram broadcast channels. In addition, the artists of Z2Z, another P-POP duo asked for help on Twitter.
In their broadcast channels, Sophia of KAIA sent a photo of herself with bandages covering her arms.
She followed the picture with the message saying, “ganap a few weeks agooo”. The KAIA member then gave a piece of advice to the fans to please always eat.
She later told fans not to send money, instead to save it and send food instead.

Previously, in a tweet posted last June 12, SOYA of Z2Z wrote “mukang (mukhang) pinabayaan na kami ah..” which already ignited the fans’ rage against the management label.

Another member of Z2Z, J.O. tweeted on June 14 saying “Sayang panahon ….” which fans speculate could be regarding to the issue.

The fans raged under the trending tags, “ANO NA SHOWBT”, #AnoNaSBT, and #SBTRespectKAIA”, in support of their artists calling the attention of the management label.

Some fans speculate that the employees of the company are also being mistreated considering the mistreatment of their own artists.
The fan wrote, “Just imagine all of the employees na hindi na compensate nang maayos for their work, event the artists themselves are not being fed (emojis) Ano na SHOWBT#AnoNaSBT”.

One fan passionately expressed their frustrations on Twitter claiming that KAIA doesn’t deserve ShowBT’s treatment. The fan wrote, “Di talaga nila deserve to :((( Bakit ginaganito nyo sila SBT? :(((( NAKAKAGALIT. But KAIA, don’t feel bad kasi kusa naman naming binibigay. Kulang na kulang pa yan. You deserve more. WLY. ANO NA SHOWBT #AnoNaSBT”

KAIA’s Sophia made sure to thank their supporters after being defended from the mistreatment. She wrote in her message, “Gusto ko lang po sabihin thank you sa support niyo always. It’s a rough time pero ilalaban namin for you all. We love you, ZAIA (emoji)”
She added, “Pabayaan man tayo, we’re gonna stick together.”
Another KAIA member, Charice also supported her fellow members.
She wrote, “I love you KAIA. Angela is the best leader. Alexa is the baddest outside pero softie inside. Soph, my talented sweet girl. Charlotte, our bravest bunso. We got this.”

ShowBT was also the management label of the Filipino boy band, SB19. However, the group departed from the management label and is now under 1Z Entertainment. The members of the group went on to have their solo debuts mainly Josh Cullen on his statement debut single, “Wild Tonight”.
Some fans speculate that the group’s reason for leaving their previous management label was because of this issue as well.
SB19’s fans also showed their support for KAIA and other ShowBT groups.

Despite the media engagement that the issue caused and the number of netizens calling the management out, ShowBT has yet to make a statement regarding the issue.
