On May 26, new Viva actress Salome Salvi admitted she felt challenged by her first acting project.
At the media conference for ‘Sex Hub’, which LionhearTV covered, Salvi said she had to learn on the spot for her first time acting.
“Ako po personally, yes. Pero, that’s not the fault of anyone in the crew, ha. I want to say that. Kasi, ano lang like we’ve been reiterating all through out this presscon, ang dami naming baguhan and included na ako doon. And there are so many things that I had to learn on the spot in order for me to deliver what I need to deliver–so I did find it difficult.”
She praised their lead star Micaella Raz, noting how the Viva artist prepared for her role.
She pointed out that her co-star Raz immerses herself in the emotions that her character role demands adding that she sees her locking herself in that headspace.
Seeing Raz, she felt the pressure of measuring up to her co-star’s commitment to the role. She expressed, “Parang I have to admit, na-pressure ako doon kasi nga ang galing-galing niya.”
However, she found acting a rewarding line of work.
Salvi recounted, “So I thought that that was–trying to do what she was doing was really difficult, so doon ako nahirapan but it’s really rewarding work and all the cast will say that about this project na kahit nahirapan kami, kahit literal na for our roles, kinulong kami sa isang warehouse na really bingy and dark, and the scenes are really difficult, parang beyond that ang dami naming natutunan, and parang nag-enjoy kami kahit medyo grueling ‘yung shoots.”
As for her upcoming project, Salvi joins the cast of Vivamax’s ‘Sex Hub’.
The four-part series Sex Hub features Raz, Joko Diaz, Karl Aquino, Alvaro Oteyza, Yda Manzano, Shiena Yu, Chester Grecia, Caira Lee, Jason Evans, and Salome Salvi.
Starting June 4, Sunday, Vivamax will stream “Sex Hub,” directed by Bobby Bonifacio Jr.
