In an interview on May 12th, Rita Daniela shared her experiences, challenges, and joys of motherhood. She also shared her role as the company’s brand ambassador for Johnson’s Baby.
Johnson’s Baby celebrated the special bond between mothers and children through their #LoveMomWithEveryTouch Campaign. This was a heartfelt tribute dedicated to all moms, particularly those embarking on the beautiful journey of motherhood for the first time. This was like the brand’s “mombassador”, Rita Daniela.
Actress Rita Daniela as a first time mom, shares, “Right now, 4 months palang si Uno. Medyo andoon pa kami sa part na hands on pa talaga taking care of Uno. – Marami actually, kahit yung mga challenging ones, yung iniisip ko pano siya patitigilin umiyak, nae-enjoy ko siya.”
In a surprising turn of events, the actress-mom revealed that she had to undergo an emergency Caesarean section due to a complication called a cord coil during her childbirth.
The moment she laid eyes on her newborn son, Rita was overwhelmed with emotion. She admitted, “Actually, akala ko nga yung maf-feel ko parang yung sa mga nanapanuod natin, umiiyak. Ako, na-shock ako, para akong nakakita ng pinaka-gwapong artista.”
When asked if she was breastfeeding, she confidently responded, “Yes po — For baby’s sake na rin lang, para healthy. Hangga’t kaya ko, go, ibibigay ko yun sa anak ko.”
She also revealed, “Yung anak ko, days old palang, napalabas niya na yung milk. – Even yung lactationers, they were impressed, na ‘Wow ang galing galing naman ng baby mo Ma’am.'”
