During an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Kapuso actress and singer Rita Daniela set the record straight, and clarified that she is not envious of her close friend, Julie Anne San Jose,’s flourishing showbiz career.
The conversation revolved around San Jose’s triumphs in television series, movies, and concerts.
On June 14, in an interview with the TV host Boy Abunda, Daniela was asked whether she experienced even a hint of envy towards San Jose’s achievements. Daniela promptly responded that there is none and firmly believes that everyone has their own moments to shine, and that now is San Jose’s time in the spotlight.
“Wala po, Tito Boy,” Daniela confidently stated.
She further explained, “naniniwala po ako na we all have our seasons, at ito ang season ni Julie, at ang season ko ngayon is to be a full-time mom and to be the best mom to Uno,” referring to her precious baby.
Daniela highlighted that she and San Jose share a healthy competition and that they are both competitive.
“Since nanggaling kami sa competition, parang understood na ‘yun sa amin na we have this healthy competition because we’re both competitive, and I like that about us,” Daniela revealed, emphasizing their mutual drive for excellence.
Following the interview, GMA’s comment section overflowed with praises for Daniela’s exceptional talent and wishes for her to secure new projects soon.
A netizen expressed admiration, “Sobrang talented siya, hindi malabo na hakutin niya lahat ng opportunity not only for composing, singing, and acting.
