On June 7, TV5 confirmed Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon’s transfer to their network, which left viewers questioning what would happen to the current blocktime agreement of ‘It’s Showtime’ with the Kapatid Network.
Some netizens expressed their hopes of seeing the formerly competing noontime shows, ‘It’s Showtime’ and the new TVJ show, air back-to-back on TV5.

However, others pointed out that ‘It’s Showtime’ might depart their noontime slot, citing reports that the blocktime agreement with TV5 will expire on June 30, just in time with the planned airing of the new Eat Bulaga show in July 2023.

Mediaquest released a statement confirming they would enter an agreement with Tito, Vic, and Joey to produce content for TV5 and other Mediaquest platforms.
