Sharing his personal challenge, Legaspi candidly admitted, “Personal challenge sakin is yung habang tinatape po namin yung love at first read ang taas ng ratings ni Mama, bilang isang anak niya dumagdag yung pressure because she’s leading her own show.”
Villaroel’s family drama ‘Abot Kamay na Pangarap’ is a non-stop headliner on the noon-time TV show.
‘LUV IS: Love at First Read’ revolves around Kudos, a secret romantic seeking the perfect girl. When he discovers a diary, he becomes convinced that Abby, the diary owner, is his destined love. However, he also encounters Angelica, a jaded girl who has no interest in love and harbors distrust for men.
Also, the young actor emphasizes the importance of chemistry within the cast. He notes that it will be visible on screen and contribute significantly to the overall quality of the show.
“Ang pinaka-challenge po sakin ay how to live by example sa mga co-actors at co-actresses po namin and creating a level playing field where everyone does their best,” shared the young actor.
When discussing preparation for the role, Mavy Legaspi reveals that he and his co-star Kyline Alcantara, with whom he shares a close friendship, have already established natural chemistry.
He shared, “Apart from the workshops, Kyline and I have already developed a close bond. So, in terms of chemistry, it’s not a major concern. However, compared to my previous series, this one is definitely more mature and requires a different approach.”
‘LUV IS: Love at First Read’ premieres on June 12, Monday on GMA Network.
