On June 13, actress Matet De Leon clapped back at netizens who bashed her last December for her fit body.
At the story conference for Unspoken Letters at the Limbaga 77 Cafe Restaurant in Quezon City, De Leon highlighted her healthy figure as a response to her bashers.
“Ang payat ko nga eh, thank you to the netizens who bashed me last December. I’m so sexy now.”
In December 2022, netizens aggressively commented on De Leon on social media after airing her grievances with her adoptive mother, Nora Aunor. They accused her of seemingly railroading her gourmet “tuyo” business. Recently, De Leon announced that the “tuyo” war is over between her and her adoptive mother.
Aside from her remark, De Leon appreciated her manager, Tyrone Escalante, for getting more non-mainstream roles.
And we age gracefully.”
She then talked about her role in the upcoming Utmost Creatives production.
De Leon also highlighted working on films that topped Netflix’s list.
