Multi-talented actress Maja Salvador recently revealed her surprising career move, taking on the role of a game show host for TV5’s Emojination.
On May 11, in an interview for the show, Salvador shared, “Ako kasi mahilig ako tumanggap ng mga projects na nach-challenge ako, so naghu-host ako sa isang noontime show – iba pa talaga yung paghu-host ng isang game show.”
Reflecting on her unexpected journey, she confessed.
“Kung iche-check natin yung journey ng career ko, parang hindi ko nakikitang mag-host ng game show. Ako din po ay nagugulat sa sarili ko at sa mga ino-offer sakin ng APT, ng TV5.
“Ngayon kasi, go with the flow. Kung sino yung may kailangan sa akin, at maganda yung project, ‘gawin natin.'”
Salvador is the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of her talent-management agency, Crown Artist Management.
On May 14 her game show Emojination premiered on TV5, hosting alongside Gen-Z comedian Awra Briguela.
Furthermore, she expressed her delight in the now collaborative nature of the industry, saying, “Sa dami din naming artista, hindi nalilimitahan kung sino ang pwede maka-trabaho, sa producers, sa TV5, Ang ATP, malawak na lahat. Doon ako masaya, na nakikitang nagcocollaboration ang lahat.”
