KoDrea (Kobie Brown and Andi Abaya) is celebrating their third year as a ‘loveteam’ now, and the answer to the question of whether they are willing to go ‘solo’ was revealed during an interview at the opening of Idara Aesthetics and Café’s newest branch in SM North Edsa.
For Kobie Brown, he truly trusts his on-screen partner, Andi Abaya, who was recently paired with Joaquin Domagoso in the 2021 movie “Caught in the Act.”
“Hindi naman po kasi it’s normal sa industry namin to get paired with another person. It’s no hard feelings at may tiwala ako sa kanya,” shared Kobie. “It’s okay if we do solo projects or projects together because our support for each other remains the same. It’s normal in the industry to get paired with other people, but that doesn’t mean it will ruin our chemistry.”
Meanwhile, the young actress Andi believes that working with a different on-screen partner will help Kobie grow in his craft.
Andi said, “Go lang. Of course, I would support him. Ayaw ko naman ilimita si Kobie sa kanyang paglago bilang artista. I don’t want to put him in a box and just get paired with me because there’s a different kind of growth when you work with other people.”
Kobie and Andi have always been known as the original loveteam KoDrea, which started during their PBB days in 2020 when fans began shipping them together.
On June 4, KoDrea was present alongside Aljur Abrenica, AJ Raval, Bugoy Carino, and many more at the star-studded opening of the fourth and fifth branches of Idara Aesthetics and Café located in SM Moa and SM North Edsa, respectively. Idara is a well-known aesthetics clinic for state-of-the-art technology and expert doctors in beauty services and products.
