Apart from Atienza, Suzette Doctolero, the head writer and creative consultant of GMA Network, also expressed her enthusiasm for the news regarding It’s Showtime.

In another tweet, she expressed how the noontime slot has become even more thrilling with the arrival of It’s Showtime on GTV.
“Exciting ang noontime ng both GMA at GTV ah! And welcome to GMA-7 Showtime peeps. See you sa GMA Gala!” she wrote.
Meanwhile, GMA Network broadcast journalist Arnold Clavio also took to social media to share his happiness about the collaboration between It’s Showtime and GTV.
Clavio shared ABS-CBN’s official statement about It’s Showtime on Instagram, adding the caption “Kapamuso!”—a blend of the terms Kapamilya and Kapuso.

On Tuesday, June 20, ABS-CBN announced that It’s Showtime had found a new home on GTV.
This announcement came after TV5 decided not to renew It’s Showtime’s block time contract, opting to introduce a new noontime show featuring the original hosts of Eat Bulaga! —Tito, Vic, and Joey.
It’s Showtime is scheduled to start airing on GTV on July 1, retaining its original timeslot of 12nn.
