Kelvin Miranda, a 24-year-old actor, has been making waves in the entertainment industry with his remarkable performances and back-to-back projects.
Known for his role as Norman in the film ‘Missed Connections,’ Miranda captivated audiences with his portrayal of an awkward yet endearing character.
Beyond Missed Connections, Miranda has recently wrapped up another acting project that he eagerly anticipates promoting. With his recent successes, he has earned the title of the next big actor of GMA Network, solidifying his position as a rising star in the industry.
Miranda emphasized his gratefulness to his network, saying, “Masaya po talaga ako, hindi naman po lahat ng artista nabibigyan ng oportunidad na magkaroon ng ganito. Nararamdaman ko po yung pagmamahal nila sa akin at suporta na kaya kong abutin yung mga bagay na hindi ko pa naabot.”
During the press conference for ‘Missed Connections’ on June 2, the young actor emphasized the importance of honing his acting skills and embracing new opportunities that come his way.
This year alone, Miranda has completed three film projects which include ‘Missed Connections,’ ‘Chances Are,’ ‘You and I,’ and ‘After All.’ Currently, he is preparing for his upcoming film ‘Puon,’ a highly anticipated reunion project with fellow Kapuso Angel Guardian.
On his recent projects, Miranda shared, “Yung isa [project] po tapos na, yung isa rin po tapos na. Actually, wala pong kasiguraduhan kung sa Netflix or what streaming platform.”
“Sa akin naman po, basta open yung oras ko, willing naman po akong gawin lahat ng binibigay sakin na trabaho. Di naman po umaabot sa punto na namimili ako ng proyekto na kailangan kong gawin,” added Miranda. “Ibibigay ko po lahat pagdating sa trabaho at paghahandaan ko po yun lahat. Mahal ko po yung ginagawa ko.”
Kelvin Miranda is thrilled about his collaboration with Miles Ocampo in ‘Missed Connections’ which was released on June 4. The film has gained significant attention and quickly become one of the most-watched movies on Netflix Philippines.
