The controversial Kapuso writer teased what non-Kapuso viewers may have missed by skipping Kapuso shows.
The writer has seemingly softened her tone on social media, after her streak of provocative posts. This inevitably had network fanatics plaguing both her Facebook and Twitter accounts. Recently, as many may have noticed, her posts have been mainly about promoting Kapuso shows, especially ‘Voltes V Legacy’.
Last May 28, Suzette Doctolero invited Kapamilyas and Kapatids to try Kapuso shows.
“Minsan, okay rin namang sumilip at manood sa kabilang ibayo para makita ang ino-offer ng Kapuso,” she posted on Facebook.
“Importante ang audience sa amin kaya nagsisikap ang buong GMA na hainan kayo ng laging bago at quality,” she added, noting GMA’s efforts to bring non-conventional dramas. She then urged netizens not to get bothered by black propaganda and hearsays.
“Huwag nang makinig sa paninira at sabi-sabi, bagkus ikaw mismo ang mag-imbestiga. Try niyong manood para makita ang pagkikita ng network na magproduce ng shows na tunay na deserve ninyo,” she added.
Doctolero has been notoriously tagged by netizens as a “palengkera” head writer. She constantly engages in social media bickering with critics and bashers of her shows. Her defending ‘Voltes V Legacy’ from the fans of the rival show, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ has not been a surprise, as she takes immense pride in being at the creative helm of the heavily-budgeted Kapuso series.
The Kapuso writer has appealed in the past to local TV viewers to return to their television sets, as TV viewership has dramatically declined through the years, due to the rise of streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) platforms.
