In addition to the surprising shake-up in the noontime lineup, the current ratings for noontime programming have been on a roller coaster ride with It’s Showtime and the revamped Eat Bulaga! constantly exchanging leads.
On Monday, June 19, the Kapamilya noontime show secured the 13th spot on the rating chart with a score of 4.0 percent, surpassing Eat Bulaga! which settled for the 14th spot with a rating of 3.8 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, June 20, It’s Showtime maintained its position at number 13 with a rating of 3.9 percent, edging out Eat Bulaga! by 0.1 percent.
However, Eat Bulaga! made a comeback on Wednesday, June 21, with a rating of 3.9 percent, surpassing It’s Showtime’s 3.6 percent.
Ever since Tito, Vic, and Joey left TAPE Inc., resulting in new hosts for Eat Bulaga!, the noontime programming has been unpredictable, favoring the Kapamilya noontime show.
Since then, It’s Showtime has consistently surpassed Eat Bulaga!’s ratings on several occasions. This trend began on June 9, when It’s Showtime scored 3.7 percent compared to Eat Bulaga!’s 3.3 percent.
Meanwhile, with the upcoming TV5 noontime show featuring TVJ (Tito, Vic, and Joey), it remains to be seen whether the roller coaster ride in noontime programming will continue or if TVJ will capture the lead once again and reign over the noontime slot.
Let’s wait and see how the situation unfolds.
