Former PBB housemate Aljon Mendoza returned to school.
During the Teen Clash press conference on May 25, Mendoza gave a glimpse on how he’s managing his school life.
According to him,“Ako po yung tototo kapag pumupunta po ako ng school nag-aangkas po ako, mas mura kasi mas praktikal, masaya pong makabalik sa school kasi feeling ko andaming dumadating sakin na new knowledge so na-eexcite po ako sa ano pang pwede kong maging pa sa future.”
Currently, he in his first year of college studying Marketing. He explained that he wants to start a business someday to provide for his family.
“1st year pa lang po, Marketing, gusto kong mag-business someday, gusto ko mabigyan ng business yung family ko and sarili ko habang nag-iipon ako inaaral ko na kung paano and at the same time gusto kong malaman kung paano ko i-market yung sarili ko sa public.”
Despite his thriving acting career, which includes notable roles in shows like MMK, The Four Bad Boys and Me, Viral Scandal, and the TV adaptation of the popular Wattpad hit, Teen Clash, he remains grounded as a student.
He humbly shared, “Mabait po sila pero normal lang, as a normal student ako don, minsan nagpapatulong ako sa assignments, nagtatanong ako kung paano gawin.”
He’s not one to shun away from seeking assistance when needed, but he maintains his integrity by valuing the essence of learning and understanding the subjects himself.
While being recognized and approached by fans–he admits that he has grown accustomed to it.
He explained, “Natouch ako, hiindi ako na-ooffend or parang na-weirdohan kasi the moment na nag-commute ako at alam kong artista ako dapat hindi na ako magugulat kung may mag-picture sa akin kasi part yun ng decision making mo, di ka dapat mag-inarte at the same time syempre kapag narerecognize ka ng mga tao, validation siya sayo as an artist kasi at least may nakakakilala pa sa akin.”
He, Jayda Avanzado, and Markus Paterson take the lead in the WantTFC original series, Teen Clash, adapted from the wildly popular Wattpad book by Ilyn Anne Danganan.
