On May 26, actor-senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. hinted at how ‘Walang Matigas Na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis’ may reflect his real-life story.
At the media conference for ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis,’ which LionhearTV covered, Revilla quipped about how the upcoming series reflected his life.
The actor-senator confirmed, “Actually, itong istorya ng Walang Matigas na Pulis, actually, this is my life story.”
He also noted how the series would be based on his two movies, ‘Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis’ (1994) and ‘Yes Darling: Walang Matigas na Pulis 2′ (1997).
Revilla shared, “…kung gaano kalapit, base naman lahat doon sa first and second na ginawang movie and then itong pangatlo for television. So makikita mo ‘yung ibang dating.”
He then joked about how his character in the series reflects his chick-magnet side.
Hindi, pelikula– trabaho lang ‘to kaya panoorin natin ‘to,” he added.
Revilla then cited some life experiences that may reference his Bartolome character in the series.
‘Yung iba, nagawa na doon sa Walang Matigas 1 and 2, sabi ko nga true to life story ko ‘to eh.”
He also disclosed how his wife, Lani Mercado, strengthened their relationship by accepting who he was when he was younger.
“Sabi ko nga, true to life story ‘to.
Finally, he shared relationship advice with his co-stars that helped his marriage to Mercado.
Maraming pagsubok ang dumadating basta no matter what, kayo pa rin.
The action star advised that a problem should not be left unresolved before the day ends.
Revilla and Mercado tied the knot in 1986, marking this year as their 37th wedding anniversary.
