GMA Network’s late-night romantic drama series, Hearts On Ice (HOI), concluded its run with an impressive rating—its highest ever.
Based on the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, HOI achieved a rating of 10.4 percent on its final episode which aired on Friday, June 16. This surpassed its rival show, The Iron Heart (TIH), by 3.7 percent as TIH received a rating of 6.7 percent.
The finale rating for HOI marked its all-time high since its premiere on March 13, 2023.
In addition to the record-breaking rating percentage, HOI also achieved its highest ranking on the overall rating chart, securing the 3rd spot. It followed the new number 1 show ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ and the second placers ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ and ’24 Oras.’
Leading up to the finale, HOI consistently garnered strong ratings throughout its finale week.
On Monday, June 12, HOI scored 10.1 percent, surpassing TIH by 2.8 percent as TIH received a rating of 7.3 percent.
On Tuesday, June 13, HOI’s rating slightly dropped to 9.1 percent but still 2.0 percent higher than its Kapamilya rival TIH, which obtained a rating of 7.1 percent.
However, on Wednesday, June 14, HOI quickly recovered and increased its ratings to 9.4 percent, a 0.3 percent improvement from the previous day. Meanwhile, TIH scored 6.6 percent.
Continuing its upward trend, HOI achieved a rating of 9.5 percent on Thursday, June 15, surpassing TIH by 2.2 percent as TIH received a rating of 7.3 percent. Starring Xian Lim and Ashley Ortega, the series performed consistently well leading up to its finale.
