‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ (FPJBQ) has achieved a remarkable feat by climbing to the number 1 spot in the ratings game after being on air for four months.
According to the latest report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, FPJBQ now reigns supreme in the ratings, surpassing ’24 Oras.’
On Wednesday, June 21, FPJBQ soared to the top spot with a rating of 12.7 percent, edging out the former leader ’24 Oras’ which came next with a rating of 12.6 percent.
Meanwhile, its rival program ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ secured the third spot with a rating of 12.0 percent.
FPJBQ’s ascent to the summit was a steady climb. It started the rating week on the third spot with a rating of 12.5 percent on Monday, June 19.
By Tuesday, June 20, the teleserye led by Coco Martin had advanced to the second spot, achieving a rating of 12.9 percent.
Finally, on Wednesday, FPJBQ cemented its victory by climbing the top spot.
This triumph holds special significance as it marks the second time an ABS-CBN program has topped the ratings chart since the network’s shutdown. The first time was during the finale of ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.’ In addition, it is noteworthy that FPJBQ has achieved this success despite airing on channels with significantly smaller reach compared to its rival GMA Network, which covers the entire country.
