Fino Herrera’s talent discoverer shared his regrets about what has happened to his career.
In his short Facebook post on June 13, talent discoverer and columnist Leo Bukas expressed his regret over the path taken by his former talent, Fino Herrera.

In his subsequent post on June 14, he shared how he misses the old Fino that he had discovered.
According to Bukas, he met Herrera through a friend, and afterward, he helped him enroll in the Star Magic workshop. However, they went their separate ways due to the opposite career directions wanted by his parents.

Herrera was poised to be one of the next important young stars of ABS-CBN.
He was introduced through the iWant original series ‘Mga Batang Poz.’ After that, he received his big break by joining the cast of the Kapamilya romantic-drama series ‘Marry Me, Marry You,’ alongside Janine Gutierrez, Paolo Avelino, and Sunshine Dizon.
He also made several appearances in the award-winning Kapamilya drama anthology ‘Maalala Mo Kaya’ and became part of the 2023 Summer MMFF movie ‘Here Comes The Groom.’
Herrera’s career however faced a significant setback due to a scandal that tarnished his reputation.
The controversy erupted when a sex scandal video allegedly involving Herrera started circulating online. The video clearly depicted the Kapamilya young star engaging in intimate acts with an unidentified woman. While it was apparent that Fino was the individual in the video, he has yet to publicly address the issue since it became viral.
