On May 30, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Ella Cayabyab introduced her baby daughter Ellaina to the public via an Instagram post.
Cayabyab posted a photo of her with her daughter on her IG account, captioning it with, “I am lucky and grateful to be your mom. 💕”
She then sent a message to Ellaina with a video of her pregnancy journey. She expressed her profound joy at being a mother to her daughter.
She initially admitted to having apprehensions about introducing her child to the public.
“It is hard to believe that today is the most special day because I am ready to finally introduce you to the world. To be honest, kinakabahan ako ngayon dahil hindi ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula.”
However, she cited her realization that the world deserved to know her child.
“Alam mo anak, the world deserves to see you because you light up every room, and you are such a wonderful gift in our life; kaya hindi ako makapaniwala, even until now, that you are mine.”
She then expressed gratitude for her experience and motherhood journey despite the hardships and difficulties.
“That’s why I always thank God dahil binigay ka niya sa akin and I feel so blessed to be able to experience motherhood. Iba yung feeling e, hindi ko siya ma-explain basta ang alam ko pinakadabest feeling ever…I’ve faced so many hardships & difficulties being your mother, but I want the whole world to know that every minute, every hour & every inch of u brings so much joy that filled my whole heart…”
Cayabyab joined the Pinoy Big Connect in 2020 alongside fellow PBB housemates Kobie Brown and Andi Abaya. Her monicker during her season was The Ra-Kweentera of Quezon. The winner for PBB Connect was her fellow housemate, Liofer Pinatacan.
