On May 21, Kapamilya star Elisse Joson still considered herself a newcomer to the industry after a decade in showbiz.
At the media conference for Miutiso, which LionhearTV covered, Joson acknowledged that despite making a name for herself in showbiz, she still has room for learning as an artist.
Joson expressed, “For the past 10 years of my career, it may seem like na parang, for me it just seems like na parang bago pa rin ako, kasi nga, siguro dahil gusto ko pang gumawa ng iba-iba pang mga characters. So kahit more than 10 years na ako sa industry, I still feel like I have a lot to learn. And, ‘yun nga marami pa akong gustong gawin sa industry na ‘to.”
She then asserted how she’s open to more out-of-the-box roles after becoming a mother.
“When it comes to projects now, I’m more open to doing something different, something out of the box, something I’ve never done before…I feel like mas confident ako na, na kaya kong gawin. Parang ‘yun ‘yung nararamdaman ko. Mas may tapang.”
Joson made her first showbiz appearance in 2012 as Jovit Baldivino’s leading lady in his song, ‘Tell Me.’
She also worked on several Kapamilya projects, such as ‘Be Careful With My Heart’, ‘Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon’, and ‘She’s Dating The Gangster’. In 2016, she gained popularity after joining ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7’.
From then on, she had a steady career on the Kapamilya network. Then in 2021, Joson and her partner McCoy De Leon revealed their first-born daughter Felize.
As for her most recent project, Joson became a part of the hit Kapamilya Primetime drama series ‘Dirty Linen. In this series, she portrays Sophie Madrigales, the out-for-revenge ex-girlfriend of Aidan (Zanjoe Marudo).
Her latest endorsement, Miutiso, is a lifestyle brand designed to provide convenience and comfortable living for children, office workers, modern people, and families. They are currently available through Shopee and Lazada.
