Award-winning TV host Boy Abunda expressed how he has become more and more grateful for lawmakers like his “CIA with BA” co-hosts Senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano.
In the episode of the public service program on Sunday, June 11, Abunda said: “I have become more appreciative of legislators. “Meron palang wisdom.
“Kaya pala ganon dahil . .
So we do have to know the law, we have to follow the law but it’s also important ‘yung why — bakit may batas na ‘yan at para sa tao ‘yan.”
In the said episode, the sibling senators, together with Abunda, took on the case of a woman complaining about her husband whose jealousy has been affecting her job. Another case involved a woman who fights for her right to the pension of her deceased husband.
“CIA with BA” continues the legacy of Senator Rene Cayetano, the late father of Alan and Pia. The senior Cayetano was a lawyer who hosted “Compañero y Compañera,” which aired from 1997 to 2001.
“CIA with BA” airs every Sunday at 11:30 p.m. on GMA Network.
