On June 7, ‘Wowowin,’ the variety show hosted by Willie Revillame, posted a video showing the staff saying, ‘Malapit na,’ seemingly hinting at their return to air on television.
Earlier, the former hosts of the longest-running lunchtime show Eat Bulaga, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon, confirmed their transfer to TV5.
Amid the noontime programming shake-up, ‘Wowowin’ seems to hint its plans to return to the noontime show line up, all vying for the top TV ratings.
It was reported that Revillame confirmed his decision to end his contract with AMBS’s TV network, ALLTV. However, some of the fans of the shows expressed that they are missing the variety program as part of their daily lives.
Previously we reported that Revillame will make a big announcement sometime in June. The said announcement will answer all questions and clear speculations about the future of the noontime show.

At the moment, Revillame took a sabbatical to focus on the construction of his resort in Puerto Galera and a hotel in Tagaytay City.
Revillame went viral after ranting about the low ratings of ‘Wowowin’ on ALLTV, which caused him to go head-to-head with prominent showbiz personalities.
