According to audience measurement data from Parrot Analytics, Kapamilya teleseryes (drama series) dominate the overall Top 10 content demand in the Philippines.
During the week of May 30 to June 5, three ABS-CBN shows and one Kapuso series were at the forefront of content demand in the country.
ABS-CBN’s crime thriller teleserye ‘Dirty Linen’ ranked 3rd overall, with an average demand of 21.13 percent higher demand than the average TV show in the market.
Following closely behind is another Kapamilya teleserye, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ which secured the 4th spot overall with an average demand of 20.97.
GMA Network’s live-action adaptation of ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ claimed the 6th position with an average demand of 18.07.

At the top of the Philippine content demand list is the classic Japanese anime ‘One Piece,’ which scored an impressive 27.44 percent.
US titles such as ‘Succession,’ ‘Ted Lasso,’ ‘The Flash,’ ‘Young Sheldon,’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ completed the list at positions 2, 5, 7, 9, and 10, respectively.
Parrot Analytics explains that audience demand reflects the desire, engagement, and viewership of a particular content, with streaming and downloading actions indicating higher levels of demand compared to likes and comments.
“Audience demand reflects the desire, engagement and viewership, weighted by importance; so a stream/download is a higher expression of demand than like/comment.”
The dataset compares the demand for each series in the market against the average TV show. A difference of 1x represents the market average, while a difference of 10x signifies that a series is ten times more in demand than the average TV show in the market.
