GMA Network’s flagship primetime newscast, ’24 Oras,’ maintains its stronghold as the highest-rated program overall, while the Kapamilya action-drama teleserye, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ (FPJBQ), reclaims its throne in the entertainment category.
Based on the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, 24 Oras and FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ secured the top two positions on the rating leaderboard.
On Monday, May 29, ’24 Oras’ garnered a rating of 16.9 percent, surpassing its competitor ‘TV Patrol’ by a significant margin at 3.2 percent. FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’, on the other hand, achieved a 13.4 percent rating.
The following day, Tuesday, May 30, ’24 Oras’ experienced a slight decrease of 0.3 percent, settling at 16.6 percent. However, it outperformed TV Patrol with a 3.1 percent rating.
In contrast, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ saw a 0.4 percent rise, reaching 14.0 percent. This surpasses its rival series, ‘Voltes V: Legacy’, which scored 13.1 percent.
On Wednesday, May 31, the Kapuso newscast surprisingly recovered with an additional 0.4 percent, bringing its rating to 17.0 percent. Its competitor, ‘TV Patrol’, obtained 3.2 percent.
Meanwhile, the Coco Martin-led teleserye experienced a decline of 0.7 percent from the previous day, landing at 13.3 percent. Nevertheless, it still outperformed its rival, which achieved a 12.3 percent rating.
