GMA Network’s flagship primetime newscast, 24 Oras, has reclaimed the top position on the overall rating chart.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, 24 Oras achieved a rating of 13.2 percent on Friday, June 23, allowing it to regain the lead in the overall weekday rankings.
This comes after two consecutive days of being surpassed by the Kapamilya action-drama teleserye, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ).
On Wednesday, June 21, FPJBQ topped the rating chart with a rating of 12.7 percent.
The following day, Thursday, June 22, the Coco Martin-led teleserye increased its rating by 0.8 percent, reaching 13.5 percent and maintaining its position at the top of the overall rating chart.
However, on Friday, June 23, FPJBQ slipped back to the number 3 spot with a rating of 12.0 percent.
Meanwhile, FPJBQ’s rival, Voltes V: Legacy, secured the number 2 spot with a rating of 12.4 percent.
Will 24 Oras be able to maintain its number 1 position? Or will FPJBQ reclaim the ratings throne once again?
