TV host Matteo Guidicelli is more than ready to become a father to the future children he will have with Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.
He confirmed this when asked about their plans to have a baby in their home.
During a press conference held by the Kapuso Network on May 11, after signing a contract with GMA Public Affairs, Guidicelli expressed his excitement about becoming a dad.
“Handang-handa na, dati pa. God willing, after all the activities that Sarah wants to do and wants to accomplish and, of course, my commitments with GMA, hopefully, by the end of the year, sana pag-pray natin lahat na makabuo,” he said.
Regarding his move to GMA 7, he also mentioned that Geronimo fully approved of it and is excited to watch shows on the Kapuso network.
“Sabi niya, ‘Love, bagay ka du’n sa Public Affairs. Your prayers are answered. Our prayers are answered,’” he told the press.
“When I joined the army four years ago, I said I’ll pick every project given to me meticulously. In the future, I want my projects to represent the Filipino people. So she said our prayers are answered,” he added.
Guidicelli said the process of his transfer to GMA took longer than expected due to uncontrollable circumstances and events.
“It did not happen last year because it was not at the perfect timing. I was doing another show and all other things aside so the negotiations were held back.
“But finally Ms. Anette Gozon (GMA Senior Vice President) said, ‘You know what, let’s sit down with boss Vic (del Rosario, Viva Communications’ president and CEO), and let’s finish this.’
“So we did, and after three hours, it was a done deal. As I’ve said, it’s like love. Good things happen to those who wait. I’m just very happy and blessed that GMA welcomed me here,” he explained.
Starting Monday, May 15, Matteo will be seen on the Kapuso morning show Unang Hirit, where he will have his segment.
Additionally, he has already confirmed his role in an action-drama series called Black Rider under GMA Public Affairs, co-starring with Ruru Madrid. He will also be working on a documentary special focusing on nature as well.
