GMA Network’s top-rating afternoon family drama, The Seed of Love (TSOL) reached its all-time high TV ratings.
Based on the preliminary overnight rating data from the Nielsen Philippines NUTAM People survey, TSOL’s Friday, May 26 episode registered an impressive combined rating of 7.4 percent, beating its rival programs Misibis Bay (TV5) and How to Move On in 30 Days (A2Z), which both scored 0.4 percent.
In a Facebook post on Monday, May 29, GMA Drama thanked all its loyal Kapuso viewers for watching the series’ record-setting episode.

Meanwhile, The Seed of Love’s record-high episode featured Eileen’s (played by Glaiza de Castro) confrontation with Alexa (played by Valerie Concepcion). Unaware of the truth, Eileen playfully interacted with her best friend Mona (played by Yana Asistio) and her older sister Ludy (played by Tina Paner) while caring for her son Thirdy.
Little does Eileen know that her husband, Bobby, is the biological father of Thirdy.
