Netizens are speculating about Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and G-Force founder Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy not being on good terms after the TikTok craze ‘Tala’ dance steps got changed.
On Saturday, April 29, during Geronimo’s performance at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup Draw in Araneta Coliseum, she did not dance the signature steps or choreography, and the G-Force weren’t her backup dancers.
Rumors have it that Geronimo wanted to have different dancers during her performance due to the huge size of the stage, but Georcelle did not like the idea, causing them to pull out.
Geronimo and Georcelle’s friendship started as a mentor and student relationship.
In 2017, Georcelle said that her friendship with Geronimo became deeper when the two started to travel together.
