Kapuso headwriter and creative consultant Suzette Doctolero didn’t hide her satisfaction with their live-adaptation series Voltes V: Legacy (VVL).
In a tweet on Wednesday, May 24, Doctolero didn’t mind if the public would accuse her of being arrogant again, proudly calling VVL the benchmark for CGI in the country.
“Pwede po ba magpakatotoo ako? Kahit pulaan na namang mayabang? Hirap naman na di na ako papakatotoo. Gusto ko lang sabihin: VOLTES V team, proud ako sa inyo!!! Ito na standard ng cgi sa PINAS!”
She also added that she’s now anxious about their next series, Sang’gre and Pulang Araw will soon require CGIs.

In a subsequent tweet, Doctolero urged viewers to continue watching the series, particularly the episode featuring the new Boazanian beast, Vaizanger.
She described Vaizanger as “more stylish and fierce” than Voltes V’s previous opponent, Dokugaga.
