“Thank you Star Magic”, says Ronnie Alonte on an Instagram story on May 29.
The IG Story was a shared post of loveteam partner, Loisa Andalio posted on May 27. The post featured pictures of Alonte in the recently-concluded Star Magic #ASG (All-Star Games).
The “Bye” sticker attached to the IG Story led netizens to speculate that Alonte is leaving Star Magic after being benched in a recent game.
After all, this was not Alonte’s first public expression of disappointment after being benched. Alonte previously remarked in a viral video that he would no longer participate in the future All-Star Games.
