TV shows in their finale week are expected to flex all their power to emerge on top, but it seemed not to be the case for Mga Lihim ni Urduja (MNLU), as it remained struggling to beat rival series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ).
In the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey covering May 1, 2023, MNLU continues to fall behind FJPBQ.
MNLU scored 10.4 percent, 1 percent lower than the Coco Martin-led FPJBQ, which registered a rating of 11.4 percent.
While MNLU has been consistently reigned over by FPJBQ during its 2-month run, the Kapuso series managed to win several single-day wins in the ratings game.
On its April 25 episode, the Kapuso mythical-fantasy drama outperformed FPJBQ, 11.2 percent vs. 10.7 percent.
MNLU also won on March 28 after registering a rating of 11.5 percent vs. FPJBQ’s 11.1 percent.
Meanwhile, just two days before its finale episode on May 5, can MNLU still recover and take the top spot in the entertainment category, or will FPJBQ continue to beat the Kapuso series until it bows down on the small screen?
