On May 5, comedians MC Muah and Lassy Marquez recalled how It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda expressed support for their upcoming movie.
At the media conference for ‘Beks Days of our Lives’, which LionhearTV covered, Muah detailed how Vice reminded them to promote their film on ‘It’s Showtime.’
I-promote ninyo.’ Siya pa ang nagpaalala talaga.”
He furthered, “Kaya super sabi ko, after noong magka-gap, ‘yung may gap, sabi ko sa kaniya, ‘Thank you ha, pinaalala mo, salamat.’ Sabi niya, ‘Basta ang importante, maganda ‘yung pelikula, support support ako diyan.'”
Marquez also pointed out that Vice was happy for his friends, especially with their first lead role in a movie. He pointed out, “At kitang-kita po talaga sa mata ni Meme, sa pagkakasabi po niya, na ang saya-saya po niya for us, sobrang saya po niya.”
As for the chance of Vice’s cameo appearance, Muah clarified Vice would’ve actively wanted to appear in their film. However, this was not for the set location, which was in Bicol.
So definitely kung Metro Manila lang ‘to maiibitahan namin.”
As for their film, Muah, Marquez, and fellow Beks Battalion member, Chad Kinis star in the heartwarming comedy film ‘Beks Days of Our Lives’.
Joining the comedic trio are John ‘Sweet’ Lapus, Debbie Garcia, Ruby Ruiz, John Flores, Pepita Curtis, Divine Tetay, Tonton Soriano, Axel Torres, Kirst Viray, Yuki Zakamoto, and Raven Molina.
Under Kinis’ direction, ‘Beks Days of Our Lives’ opens in cinemas nationwide on May 17.
