On April 17, Karla Estrada insisted she didn’t mind if her son, Daniel Padilla, got married to his girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo.
At the media conference for the new Face2Face, which LionhearTV covered, Estrada valued her son’s love life, noting that she was ready to be a grandmother.
“Okay lang, mas importante ang love life nila kaysa sa akin. I’m so ready anytime na maging Lola, matagal na akong Lola.”
She also disclosed that she prefers to be called ‘Mama Lola’ by her future grandchildren.
“Mama Lola, kasi ‘yan ang tawag ko sa Mama Lola at Papa Lolo ko,” Estrada revealed.
It has been a long-standing rumor that the Kapamilya love team and real-life couple, “KathNiel” have secretly tied the knot. However, Estrada refuted the speculations, expressing her support for her children’s choices.
Pero siyempre at the end of the day sila talaga ang magde-desisyon noon.”
As for her upcoming TV5 show, Face2Face first aired in 2010, trending due to in-person confrontations. TV5 was hosted by Amy Perez from 2010 to 2013 and Gelli de Belen from 2012 to 2013.
Face2Face’s reboot returns on TV5 with new hosts Karla Estrada and Alex Calleja.
Joining them are the new Trio Tagapayo Atty. Lorna Capunan, Dr. Love Jun Banaag, with returning adviser Dr. Camille Garcia.
Frank Lloyd Mamaril directs ‘Face2Face’, which airs May 1 at 11 am via TV5 and Cignal TV.
