JR De Guzman, the famous comedian is coming to Manila on June 3, and he can’t help but share his funny interactions with ‘Tita’ fans during his press conference on May 3, who often serve as his matchmakers for their single daughters.
“I have a general pattern of weird interactions I get. So after the show, at least here in the states, after shows, the Titas welcome and will try to set me up with their daughters, and even after saying that I have a girlfriend, they keep going,” shared De Guzman.
He also joked about how unique his fans are, saying, “BTS, Harry Styles, all those out there, they don’t have fans like I do.”
However, De Guzman is no longer single, and he’s very proud of his beautiful girlfriend, whom he believes people, including his ‘Tita’ fans, will love when he visits the country for his show.
“They’ll love her [girlfriend], she looks like a model and everything,” said De Guzman.
He is set to perform at The Theatre at Solaire on June 3 as part of his Later That Evening Asia Tour, following his successful US Tour.
He was named one of Variety’s Ten Comics to watch in 2022, and his quarter-hour special on The Comedy Lineup is streaming now on Netflix.
