Jo Berry to star in the upcoming GMA Network legal drama series titled Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law.
On May 9, during the story conference of the said series, the cast was introduced to the public.
Berry will portray Lilet Matias, a small attorney who has big aspirations for the marginalized.
The story follows Lilet handling different cases, one of which is the rape case of her half-sister that will challenge her career. The series will tackle different social injustice issues that are timely and relevant to the country, such as discrimination, sexism, abuse, and poverty.
Joining Berry in Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law, are: Joaquin Domagoso, Zonia Mejia, Hannah Arguelles, Sheryl Cruz, Glenda Garcia, Teresa Loyzaga, Jason Abalos, EA Guzman, Ariel Villasanta, among others.
In 2016, Berry appeared in the Magpakailanman episode titled My Little Wife, which launched her acting career. She is known for Onanay (2018), Kiko en Lala (2019), and My Fantastic Pag-ibig (2021).
