The GMA Network will offer four new surprises for its loyal Kapuso fans this May.
In the network’s YouTube post on May 2, GMA teased its upcoming TV shows ‘Voltes V: Legacy’, ‘The Seed of Love’, ‘Resibo Walang Lusot ang May Atraso!’ and ‘Unbreak My Heart’.
Voltes V: Legacy finally has a premiere date after many setbacks. The show will premiere on May 8, on GMA’s Telebabad.
The series stars Miguel Tanfelix as Steve Armstrong, Radson Flores as Mark Gordon, Matt Lozano as Robert “Big Bert” Armstrong, Raphael Landicho as “Little Jon” Armstrong, and Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson.
It is directed by Mark Reyes and produced by GMA Entertainment Group.
‘Voltes V: Legacy’ is GMA’s TV adaptation of the Japanese anime Chōdenji Machine Voltes V which was produced by Toei Company and Sunrise.
GMA Network acquired the rights to a live-action adaptation through Telesuccess Productions, Toei’s Philippine licensee.
The series has gained attention all over the world. Faithful fans commended the early teasers released by the GMA network in early 2020.
The drama series The Seed of Love will also premiere on May 8, during GMA Network’s Afternoon Primetime.
The series stars Glaiza de Castro under Ricky Davao’s direction. It follows the story of a husband and wife tackling the challenges of In-vitro fertilization, a process of fertilization where an egg is combined with sperm in vitro (“in glass”).
To entertain Kapuso fans on Sundays, the network will air the series ‘Resibo: Walang Lusot ang May Atraso!’ on May 7.
GMA Integrated News’ veteran reporter Emil Sumangil will host the program.
Lastly, the GMA network will air the highly-anticipated series ‘Unbreak My Heart’ on May 29.
The series, under the direction of Emmanuel Quindo Palo and Dolly Dulu, stars Gabbi Garcia, Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, and Joshua Garcia.
This is a TV collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN which will also feature the cross-network love team of Will Ashley and Bianca De Vera.
