On April 25, Brilliant Skin Essentials CEO Glenda Victorio admitted she’s the ultimate Alden Richards fan.
At the media event for Richards’ endorsement of the Brilliant Summer line, which LionhearTV covered, Victorio recounted how she became a fan of the Kapuso actor.
“Palagi kong sinasabi na ever since, isa ako sa mga kinilig sa AlDub, and noong time ng Hello, Love, Goodbye, naaalala ko, isa ako sa mga nanonood, sumusunod ako sa mga presscon, nakikinig talaga ako.
She added, “Yes, ultimate fan ako ni Alden kasi ‘yung isa kong make-up artist dati, nagwo-work ata sa make-up artist niya, and palagi niyang sinasabi, sobrang bait daw ni Alden.”
She then attributed Richards’ character as the deciding factor in having the Kapuso star as their latest endorser.
She explained, “So sabi ko, if magkakaroon man kami ng main endorser, dapat Brilliant din talaga. Hindi lang sa looks, kung di ‘yung heart. Kaya ang sabi ko, I think si Alden ‘to. So ang tagal ko talagang nag-antay. Ang tagal ko nag-antay, and finally it’s happening. So, sobrang masaya kami, hindi lang ako kung di ang buong Brilliant family.”
She also remembered how shy she was to reach out to Richards regarding an endorsement deal.
“Nahihiya kasi ako talaga sa personal and pag nagkikita kami, nahihiya ako kasi pag binabasa ko ‘yung mga messages ko sa kaniya since 2019, sobrang nakakahiya talaga.”
She also reacted to Richards’ compliment, calling the Brilliant Skin Essential CEO “Miss Beautiful”.
“Siyempre, itatago ko na lang ‘yung kilig ko, pero siyempre naman nakakatuwa na tinatawag kang Miss Beautiful. Noong una siyang nag-reply sa message ko, as in, tuwang-tuwa talaga ako and natawa ako doon sa una kong message sa kaniya.”
Victorio concluded, “So kapag Christmas or bagong taon, binabati ko siya kahit di niya binabasa. O kaya, kapag malungkot ako, ‘uy malungkot ako ngayon, feeling ko ikaw magpapasaya sa akin, ‘yung mga ganon–as a fan girl.”
As for his endorsement deal with Brilliant Skin Essentials, Richards promotes the Sunscreen Gel-Cream and other future skin care products lined up.
