Following two weeks of intense competition, the ABS-CBN action-drama teleserye FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ) has made a triumphant return to the top, and reclaimed its rating throne from GMA Network’s Voltes V: Legacy (VVL).
In the most recent rating report by the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, FPJBQ has once again secured the top position on the entertainment rating chart, bumping off the highly anticipated VVL.
On Monday, May 22, FPJBQ rose to the overall number two spot with a rating of 12.6 percent, pushing VVL down to the number three spot with a rating of 12.5 percent. This marks the first victory for FPJBQ against VVL since May 8.
On Tuesday, May 23, the Coco Martin-led series continued its momentum as it maintained its leadership in the rating chart.
Both FPJBQ and VVL achieved a rating of 12.8 percent, sharing the throne as the country’s number one entertainment program.
Now the question is: will this be the beginning of FPJBQ‘s continued ascent, or can VVL bounce back and surpass the competition once again?
In addition to television ratings, FPJBQ has also maintained a strong presence in the digital space.
On May 22, the Kapamilya action-drama teleserye garnered over 314,000 live concurrent views, significantly surpassing VVL‘s 28,000 views.
The following day, Tuesday, FPJBQ reached one of its highest peak live concurrent views, exceeding 318,000, compared to VVL’s more than 28,000.
