On May 25, It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda seemingly threw shade at the now-defunct TV5 noontime show Tropang LOL.
During the Rampanalo segment of It’s Showtime, a contestant named Elizabeth from Tandang Sora Quezon City went home with a P2800 cash prize.
The comedian host started interviewing the contestant asking whether she enjoyed participating in their game.
The woman replied, “Nag-enjoy naman kahit papaano.”
Her up-front response prompted a reaction from the hosts, Vice and Vhong Navarro.
Navarro joked, “Nanay ‘yung totoo, gusto ninyo po ba sa It’s Showtime manood o sa Eat Bulaga?”
Vice quipped, “Kasi pag-pasok niya dito, ‘Ay, akala ko may LOL pa,'” which had his co-hosts gigling with laughter.

As for Tropang LOL, the noontime show aired its final episode on TV5 on April 29, 2023. Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, Bayani Agbayani, and many more hosted the lunchtime program for almost three years.
Earlier, Crawford, a former host of It’s Showtime, penned a farewell message for Tropang LOL audience on his Instagram account that seemingly shaded the Kapamilya noontime show.
He wrote, “I will miss the atmosphere of this show because it was so genuinely light, friendly, and uplifting for everyone, and each person on the team worked so hard. No drama, no divas, no pulling anyone down. Walang naka-angat, at walang nagmamaliit. But as I said, good things sometimes come to an end.”
As for Vice, Kapamilya fans can see the host on It’s Showtime from Monday to Saturday at 12nn.
He also hinted that his community singing game show, Everybody Sing was meant to return for a new season this May 2023 back in February.
He would also mount his upcoming concert YOUR MEMEJESTY, QUEEN VG on June 2 at the Araneta Coliseum.
