The pillar of ‘Eat Bulaga’ and actor Tito Sotto refused to be interviewed by “King of Talk” Boy Abunda, accordingly.
In Ogie Diaz’s Youtube update on April 30, he revealed that Tito Sotto did not want to be interviewed by Abunda as the latter was apparently biased.
“Choice daw ni Tito Sen na wag magpa interview kay Kuya Boy. Iyon lang ang nakarating sa atin. Na feeling daw ng kampo ng TVJ, parang masyadong pabor ang mga tanong ni Kuya Boy kay Bullet. Parang before handa daw parang nag-usap si Bullet at si Kuya Boy,” he said.
On April 19, Boy Abunda interviewed Mayor Bullet Jalosjos, chief finance officer of TAPE Inc. He is the son of TAPE Inc. chairman Romeo Jalosjos.
Eat Bulaga’s trio Tito, Vic, and Joey (TVJ) was recently in a controversy with Romeo Jalosjos as the latter was accused of removing TAPE’s co-founder and CEO Antonio Tuviera, a long-time ally of TVJ, and threatened to “rebrand” the show without them.
Tito Sotto felt like Boy Abunda’s questions supported Mayor Bullet. But according to Ogie Diaz, the King of Talk would get both sides’ opinions.
“Knowing Tito Boy, kukunin pa rin niya yung panig ng kabila, ‘pag ayaw wala rin naman siyang magagawa. Normal lang ho ‘yon sa nag-iinterview na bago sumalang on cam ay kakausapin ka muna off cam. Normal po yon,” Diaz said.
Meanwhile, Tito Sotto was interviewed by Nelson Canlas, MJ Marfori, and Cristy Fermin. The exclusive interviews were released just days after Boy Abunda interviewed Mayor Bullet.
